Being a follower of Jesus isn't easy. It never has been. For some the costs outweigh the benefits...that is until our mortality becomes more vivid to us...yet, sometimes even then.
Being a follower of Jesus is not about doing all we can to line ourselves up for heaven. It's really lining ourselves up to experience the heaven that God planted in all of us. When once we are more aware,
it changes everything for the best. That's what the Gospel of Mark is really all about.
However, in the last chapter, we are left with precisely what the earliest of disciples were left with: apprehension and self doubt.
This week, Pastor Rob will help us know what it is we can do with our apprehension
with regard to following the truth of Jesus: "You are a beloved child of God with a purpose to be discovered and shared."
